Margarida is a freelance photographer with a passion for visual storytelling. Originally from Amarante, a charming town in northern Portugal, she moved to the UK in 2019 to pursue her dreams, earning a BA (Hons) in Photography with an international enhancement year. She is currently furthering her expertise with an MSc in Digital Marketing Communications at Manchester Metropolitan University.

 

With a keen eye for creativity, Margarida collaborates with small businesses and artists to bring their visions to life through photography. She also has extensive experience in event management and coordination, having played a key role in organising large community events such as the International Festival and Black History Month at Coventry University. Additionally, she has supported events like Diwali celebrations and other international student initiatives at Manchester Metropolitan University.

 

Margarida is deeply passionate about connecting with people from different cultures, exploring new places, and capturing the world’s beauty through her lens. Known for her warmth and positivity, she has earned the nickname “a piece of sunshine” by her friends. And true to her nature, when the sun is shining, you’ll always find her outside, making the most of the day!
