MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRINCIPAL TERMS

  1. This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance to these Membership Terms and Conditions and completed your payment details of the web sign up process.
  2. This agreement will become binding on you and us when we contact you to confirm your membership application has been accepted, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
  3. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges set for the Type of Membership chosen.
  4. You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else

MEMBERSHIPS OFFERED

  1. BLOSSOM MEMBERSHIP: All existing and new pay-as-you-go members will be categorised under the Blossom membership. This membership itself is offered at no cost, allowing the members who have signed up to register and access the offered services on a pay-as-you-go basis, paying only for the services they choose to utilise.
  2. RADIANT MEMBERSHIP: Radiant membership is our premium and only paid membership category, offering exclusive access to Radiant events and services. Members also enjoy complimentary access to all social events without the need to pay any administrative fees or provide deposits (please note that the food and beverages at social events remain payable by members). Additionally, Radiant members receive complimentary access to a selection of specified paid services, as outlined in ‘BENEFITS’ section below.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  1. BLOSSOM MEMBERSHIP:
    a) Exclusive access to a vibrant Blossom community WhatsApp group where you can connect with like-minded women, support each other, and engage in meaningful discussions.
    b) Get notified about any social events, Meet-ups and WE Workshops hosted by WEMCR.
    c) Access to a monthly newsletter and updates.
    d) Access to referrals to other charities and support entities as/when required.
    e) Access to free monthly Coffee Morning Socials.
    f) Nominal fee ranging up to £5 to attend any of the above mentioned events.
  2. RADIANT MEMBERSHIP:
    a) Access to a vibrant Blossom community WhatsApp group where you can connect with individuals from Blossom membership, support each other, and engage in meaningful discussions.
    b) Get notified about any social events, Meet-ups and WE Workshops hosted by WEMCR.
    c) Free entry to exclusive monthly Radiant social events.
    d) One free mentoring session with our founder.
    e) One sponsored post on our social media including Instagram and LinkedIn.
    f) One free registration for our Self-Esteem course per year.
    g) Exclusive access to the Radiant WhatsApp group including other Radiant members so you can uplift and support each other.

MONTHLY FEES AND CHARGES

  1. The first month’s membership fees are collected from you by us at the time of purchase
  2. Your second payment for monthly membership fees only will be collected one month after you joined. Subsequent payments for monthly membership fees will be collected monthly thereafter. Each payment made is not refundable under any circumstances.
  3. If any recurring monthly card payment is returned unpaid, we will retry to collect the payment and email you a few times within 3 weeks before automatically cancelling your membership.
  4. You agree to advise us immediately of any change to the Members Details provided.

MONTHLY PRICES

From time to time we may need to increase the price of membership. We will give you at least 1 full months’ notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your membership will cost after the increase. During this period, you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice, then the price of your membership will be increased in accordance with our notice.

TERMINATION
MONTHLY RECURRING PAYMENT MEMBERSHIPS

  1. You may terminate your membership at any point by cancelling your recurring monthly payment. Please contact membership@womenempoweredmcr.org for any further information.
  2. In the above circumstances your membership will remain in force until the day before your next payment is due, at which point it will automatically terminate.

PAID IN FULL MEMBERSHIP

If you have purchased a yearly membership you will be entitled to 50% of the pro rata amount as refund for any unused membership.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

As per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel your membership and receive a full refund of any fees paid within 14 days of completing your membership application form. However, as per regulation 36 of Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you select to commence your membership immediately, or you ask us to start your membership early, you agree that if you subsequently cancel your membership within the 14 day period, you will be refunded any monies paid, less an amount for the membership you have already used commencing from the first day after joining.

MISCELLANEOUS TERMS

  1. Members must be 16 or older.
  2. You agree to comply with the Rules of Membership (“Rules”) which are displayed on our website, WhatsApp Groups and events, and relate to use of resources and your conduct. We may make reasonable changes to these Rules at any time provided that we
    give you advance notice of the change.
  3. If we take no action or let you off any breach of this agreement or give you extra time to pay or comply, it will not stop us enforcing the terms of this agreement strictly at a future date.
  4. We may assign the benefit of this agreement and our rights thereunder to a third party on notice to you. Your rights under this agreement will not be prejudiced.
  5. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by any event that is outside of our reasonable control.
  6. This agreement is governed by English Law.
  7. We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect on notifying you if you are in breach of the Rules.

  1. Offer can be used with Direct Debit monthly membership product only.
  2. Offer valid from 2nd Nov 2024 until 23:59 1st December 2024 and must be claimed by this date.
